This is as peaceful as it looks! What a scene to wake up to! The temperature was -3C but it warmed up and the mist burned off in about an hour. Rick got busy with the camera and took quite a few pictures around the campground.
After we got the laundry all dried we got on the trikes and headed for a town called Darien. Took a side road and ended at an old wharf with shrimp boats. Rick and Dennis were talking to the
two fishermen and they had oysters for sale. Rick and Dennis tried a raw one each and found them too salty. We went for a bite to eat at (BJ's) a local restaurant and enjoyed the food and talking to some locals. Then Rick and I went to Fort King George a historic spot.
Dennis and Myrna took off and went to a Brand Name Outlet stores and got a few bargains for Dennis. He's even willing to go back tomorrow afternoon.
Yes they do drink Tim Horton's coffee down here, although this lady brought her own.The four of us are going to try the Lakeside Restaurant in the campground. The owners aunt is the cook and everything is all home made. Should be good.
