This morning the lake was glass like and clear. What a gorgeous scene! We got away at approximately 8:45 a.m. We were at the visitor centre for Florida at about 10:00 a.m.
They had samples of orange juice for everyone and information on every town and attraction in Florida. There was a Camper World and Brand Name Outlet Mall right at St. Augustine so we spent some time there browsing and buying. We got a spot at the Flying J here and got the trikes out as soon as possible. The outside temperature was about 25 C and we actually got to turn on the air conditioning in the motor home.
Rode down to Daytona Beach (about 50 miles) to go to see the Stallion Motor Cycle made by Thoroughbred.
Wow we were all impressed, to bad they are not approved for use in Canada yet. They have buyers for all that have been produced so far. It was hard to keep Dennis from buying one right on the spot, good thing they didn't have any left that weren't pre-sold.
The guys there told us of another route to take back up to the RV, boy was it a nice drive. There are Palm trees just about everywhere we go. Neat.
On the way back from Daytona Beach we spotted a place called "Halifax Plantation". Boy was it huge, it had entryways for miles. Tomorrow we will be going to Orlando.
