Townsend, just south of Savanna GA is where we will be for the next 3 days. The main reason for our stop here is BLUE BLUE SKY not a cloud in sight.
It is a little cool about +12C and going down to around 0C tonight. It is so unusual for it to get this cold here that the park owner even came around and told everyone that it is going to get cold. The campground is a little rustic but they have only had it for a few years and are slowly fixing it up.
For $9 per couple per night the site includes full hookups, free showers and also free cable and wi-fi, not bad EH!! Our spot overlooks the lake and we are about 100 ft from it. Tomorrow it is going up to about 18C so we will be out on the bikes. Dennis & Myrna took a short ride this afternoon and when they came back they mentioned that it was cool riding. It will be really nice just to lay back and relax.
Yes we have found our first Palm trees.
