Pigeon Forge

On our last night in Nashville Irene and I went to the "Cock of the Walk" cat fish house, where you eat off tin plates. Along with your meal they bring you corn bread in a hot cast iron fry pan. When the waitress brings it she flips it up into the air about 10 ft and then catches it in the pan and then places it on the table for you. It was a lot of fun watching everyone get one. Traveling today across Tennessee was very picturesque even though it was a little cloudy. Dennis was still feeling a little under the weather from a flu bug that he picked up so we just took our time getting into Pigeon Forge around 4:00 pm. Irene and I got our trike out and went uptown for dinner to Ruby Tuesday. What a place!! it was great, they had a wonderful salad bar that came with your meal. Irene spotted a Christmas store that is open all year so we stopped in to take a look. Well guess what! I'm going back tomorrow with my camera. The displays that they have are something else the girl I was talking to said that they have a team of decorators that basically work all year long just changing displays and layouts. No pics today but hopefully some tomorrow.
