Border Crossing

You won't believe this!! It was 1:10 pm and we are leaving D & M's for the border, we are all guessing as to the length of time it will take us to get across. Time at the border 5 min, yep 5 min, by 1:30 pm we are in the USA. First stop was camper world where we had to pick up a few items for the motorhome, next stop Wally World for groceries. The weather was great so Dennis wanted to get over the pass for the night, we decided to eat out. When your rig is 61.5 feet long you can't just park anywhere. The best place to park was the casino parking lot in Tualop, go figure, well you know the rest of the story. The food was good and yes we did loose just a little only $10 each after all we were in a hurry to get over the pass. We arrived here in Ellensburg at about 9:00 pm and are at the Flying J truck stop temperature is 1 C not bad. It was a good thing that we continued on and over the pass as we woke up to snow on the ground this AM. After breakfast we will be off to Hayden ID, about 4 hours and we will be staying at Vicki and Steve Wilson's for the night.

Here it is Nov 27 and we are almost on the road. The weather has not been the best lately, we've been getting a bit of that white stuff. We will be leaving on Thursday the 29 around 1pm. The girls will be doing the grocery shopping in Marysville at the huge Wall Mart there. If the roads are looking not bad Dennis would like to get over the Snoqualmie Pass and try to stay ahead of any bad weather, we will have our fingers crossed. Friday we will be at Vicki & Steve Wilson's for the evening.
