Hurricanes are known as a "polite disaster." How they can say that I do not know. What a shock, the coastline has not healed itself even yet. Most places have to be totally replaced and there are lots of properties still for sale.

We were supposed to stay at Pass Christian 5 Star RV tonight but when we got there, there really was no where for our unit and the whole place seemed to be full of trailers still being lived in by residents of the storm. So on we came to Capri Court in Houma, Louisiana.

To get here we travelled through New Orleans to once again be shocked and amazed at the devastation so wide spread. Just over two years later and a lot of areas have not been touched. So many people are living in travel trailers etc. beside their homes. We are not feeling as upbeat as we have other days.
The trikes are parked out beside Mahoneys Irish Pub in Houma.
