There was fireworks through out the campground but things were fairly quiet all in all. There are a lot of Spanish speaking people at this RV park and they do like to party and dance. We walked around and watched the action. Also we played cards and made it to midnite.
This morning Irene, Myrna and Rick made Egg and Bacon Lasagna for a treat for breakfast New Years day a.m. Boy was it tasty!
Dennis and Myrna headed for the Theatre of the Sea and enjoyed it immensely. 
Dennis got a really good picture of the sea lion while performing. Rick and I caught up on laundry and then headed out on the trike.
This fish was in the aquarium at the Worldwide Sportsman Shop.
We both found ourselves some reasonably priced sandals at the Worldwide Sportsman Shop.
We stopped at the Turtle Bay Restaurant for lunch and Rick actually tried turtle chowder (it was good). We also shared a cuban sandwich which was very tasty. Their bread has no preservatives and is something like a pita pocket.
The birds in the trees were outside our laundry room sitting in the trees by the canal. They are pelicans.The dew on the trike window this a.m. provided Rick the opportunity to wish everyone a Happy 2008 in a different way.
