We went out to the Yuma proving grounds to the army base there and "WATCHED" the Golden Knights parachute jumping.
What a performance! Dick & Gerry from Salem Oregon, Abe & Betty Peters from Kelowna, Dennis & Myrna and Rick and Irene watched their practice for a couple of hours and then we headed out into California to visit Gordie and Jeannette from Merritt where they were dry camping at Hurricane Ridge.
He has been doing that for many years and never gets bored. All of us including Gordie and Jeannette went for a ride to Imperial Date Gardens and had date shakes and ice cream. Mmm good. We will have to head out there again on another nice day.
Yes that is Gordie putting gas in his motorcycle. Most bike riders gas up before a ride!

Marty & Josie cooked dinner for us last night and we had a visit with them as well. It was delicious. She followed up with some unusual tea. It starts as flower buds and the hot water opens the flower. It was great tasting!
This morning Rick and I went to the Arizona Market (flea market) here in Yuma. I don't think we even saw half of the place. What a variety of stuff!
Betty and Abe are heading out for Texas tomorrow a.m. so we decided to go to the Golden Corral Buffet for dinner. Another great place to eat out! What comes next? Tomorrow will tell.
