A Great Ride

On Sunday we met Ralph & Mary Woods from Nanaimo and Nick Stockman from Vernon at 9am and went on a ride. They took us to Calexico Calf. Then on up to Santa Ysabel, Calif. to a casino. What a beautiful ride through the hills. A great bike road, we listened to the motorbikes scrape the pavement on the corners. We had lunch at the casino and they gave us each $10.00 to gamble with. Left it there and went riding. Nick headed back the way we came and Ralph & Mary and Myrna and myself came home a different road. Ralph missed a turn so we ended up going all the way to Indio. What a ride, hair pin turns and a wonderful view coming into Palm Dessert. We arrived back at the motor home about 8 p.m. Thanks for a great ride. 405 miles just a little soar but we survived.
