WOW!! can the wind and sand blow here! We knew about Yuma getting wind but never really thought about how strong it can be, but that hasn't stopped us from going places and visiting with friends.
Our friends Jim & Janine had us over for lunch the other day and then we went to the Peanut Patch for some delicious Ice Cream "peanut butter of course".
Kevin & Helen our friends from Kamloops have been following our trip via the blog & videos and they had preplanned on coming to Arizona. When they realized that we were going to be in Yuma at the beginning of February, they made a few adjustments to their plans and met up with us. It was great to catch up on what they have been up to and what they plan on doing. We took them over to the Arizona flea market here and "set them loose". Like ourselves they have a GPS with them and it makes it so easy to find places in an unfamiliar city.
